Due to the visit of the Chief Apostle to conduct the Divine Service in San
Pablo, and before it, the children from the Sunday School happily welcomed
the first Servant of God to Brazil with the hymn “ How beautiful is to
be Apostolic” which was very moving.
The picture shows the children with the Chief Apostle.
Later,
before starting the Service, he also visited two adjoining halls and
greeted the mothers with children who assisted the service via video.

Dear
children,
Some
circumstances in the life may you doubt about your beliefs.
Everyone
has, once in a while, a feeling of disappointment.
It would be great if we could avoid this experience. But we can trust in our Lord, as he never disappoints us.
Do you know the promise of God?
The promise of the Eternal Life!
Do you know why this promise will be honoured?
Because it was our Lord who made it.
He accepted the crucifixion for us, and through this he showed us
all the immense love he has for us. Due
to this demonstration of love we should deny any doubt in our life of
prayer.
Jesus
Christ has made many miracles that can be read in the 4 gospels.
For example, he healed sick people, gave the sight back to the
blind, rose Lazarus from the
death. And he made all this
in the name of his Father to show the people that he was the son of God
and that he had come to redeem their souls.
In
those times many people could not believe that he was the Messiah sent by
God. For this reason he had to make many miracles.
Are there miracles still today?
Many people ask.
My
dear children, today the miracles exist. If we listen to the Lord’s word
in your house and we keep it in our heart , we’ll have the enough
strength to hold a life of prayer. Another
miracle is that we can be children of God and that we have received the
Holy Spirit. Is not a miracle that we wake up healthy every morning and
that we can perceive our family’s and our brothers’ love?
In
the Gospel of St. John we can
read about Thomas, who did not believe that Jesus had risen from the death
and that he had manifested himself to the disciples.
Suddenly Jesus manifested to Thomas and asked him to reach his hand
into his wounds. Then, Thomas
recognized his Lord and Jesus told him
“ blessed are they that have not seen and yet believed”.
This is a lesson for
all of us. We should not
doubt what from the Lord
comes, he promised to take us with him and to give us eternal life.
